  • DiscipleNOW Weekend

    DNOW weekend is coming September 19-21. Students from five churches will be coming together to share in a weekend of Bible study, fellowship, music, and outreach.  Cost is $45 and includes food, materials and a t-shirt. To sign up contact Pastor Tommy or Mrs. Branch through the Church Office.
  • Discover Membership at First Baptist!

    Pastor Stan will be teaching the “Discovering Membership at FBCL” course on September 14 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Room. This course is for anyone interested in what our church is about and what we believe. It is a required course for membership in our church. It features a course notebook, a PowerPoint presentation, and a free copy of The Purpose Driven Life.
  • Embrace Baltimore

    We have a mission outreach opportunity with “Embrace Baltimore.” On Saturday, September 13 we will assist Pleasant Rock Baptist Church with a Back to School Carnival and Health Fair. The event is from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Please contact Church Office if you are able to help with this outreach.
  • The Power of a Praying Woman - Saturday at 9 a.m.

    When we define our view of our needs, problems, and wants to God, and we tell Him how to fix them or we set out to help Him fix them, He realizes that we just don’t understand. Enhance your prayer experience, join Anne Marie on Saturday, September 13 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon. in the Chapel. Learn to open life’s door and blessings through understanding relationships, prayer, trust, purpose and love.
  • Sight and Sound Theatre

    Everyone is welcome to come on this Evergreen Ministry sponsored day outing to Sight and Sound in Strasburg, PA. to see IN THE BEGINNING. Buses will leave at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 11 for the 1:00 p.m. show. After the show the tour will eat at the Hershey Farm Restaurant. The cost for the show, meal, and transportation is $67.50. Everyone is welcome. Sign up is required, contact the Church Office.
  • ESL Ministry Is Set to Begin

    The ESL (English-as-a-Second-Language) teachers of First Baptist Church met with Pastor Stan on August 27, to pray and plan for the new school year.  There will be classes on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10 AM and Wednesdays at 6:30 PM.  We will have five levels of English and a U.S. Citizenship Class.  If you have international friends, please invite them to come.  They may register at any time during the year. Please contact the Church Office for more information.
